Rita Simons on staying in shape and her ambitions

Rita Simons reckons that playing the role of EastEnders Roxy means she has to force herself to stay in good shape so that she doesn’t look flabby in Roxy’s tight clothes!
In a recent media interview, Rita said how fitting into Roxy’s wardrobe means she has to go to the gym at least three times a week and watch what she eats. When asked if her real-life husband Theo gets annoyed with the attention Rita receives from male fans, she said that he doesn’t get jealous because he too has his own share of female attention. Theo’s a hairdresser and an attractive man so the couple are used to dealing with admiration from both genders!
Rita also revealed that she has one ambition outside of EastEnders and that’s to appear in a UK gangster film, of the Lock, Stock variety.
You’d think she’d get enough of gangsters and violence just on the Square wouldn’t you?
