EastEnders Spoiler Alert! Is Nick going to die in cafe fire?
Rumours have been circulating for a while now that there’s to be a fire at Ian’s cafe, and press leaks at first claimed that somebody was going to be seriously injured and it would be touch and go whether that someone makes it or not, but the latest gossip is that it’s Nick who’s going to injured and he’s going to die of his injuries.
The storyline will air at the end of this month when it appears that, in a fury over his daughter Dotty bottling out of helping him kill his mum Dot, Nick goes into the cafe and totally loses the plot when his dastardly plan to kill poor Dot is revealed. Somehow, a fire then breaks out and Nick holds the cafe patrons hostage as the heat intensifies to the point that the whole place explodes just as Bradley leads a posse of the Square’s residents into the cafe to try to rescue everyone…
We’re apparently set for a few cliffhanger episodes before we know who lives and who dies, but as it seems that John Altman - Nasty Nick himself - is going to be leaving the soap again soon, there’s a good chance it’s going to be him who dies…
On the plus side, Ian’s going to refurbish the cafe and apparently turn it into a ‘retro diner’ that’s both ‘classic and modern’ though how it can be both, I’m not entirely sure! However, we’ll get to find out when these episodes show on our screens towards the end of this month and into the first weeks of June.
