EastEnders Max & Tanya are getting back together!
Jo Joyner – who plays Tanya on EastEnders – and Jake Wood, who plays her on-screen husband Max, have both hinted that the couple could be getting back together.
In several media interviews, Jo and Jake have both said that despite the fact Tanya’s in for a rough time of it from her friends if she takes Max back, as the couple grow closer over the following weeks, a reconciliation is looking very likely.
Jake Wood told the BBC in an interview about his character that believes Max has “finally turned a corner” and now realises what he lost in Tanya.
It’s been 18 months since the couple split when, during the Christmas Day episode, Max and Stacey’s affair was revealed. Here’s a clip from that episode…
I hope they do get back together, but after betrayals, burials while alive and affairs with a variety of people – not to mention the fact his daughter tried to kill him! – it’s not going to be an easy road for the pair!
